The tawdry sex-scandal aspect of the Fani Willis hearing is entertaining as hell. And I'm having a blast commenting on it on the radio and my video show. We should mock these people. They're entirely worthy of your ridicule and disdain.
But, don't lose sight of something very,. very important.
The charges brought by Ms. Willis against Donald Trump and his lawyers and advisors are incredibly serious and sweeping. She is prosecuting the former President of the United States and current presumptive nominee for the Republican Party in the 2024 election. She is trying to imprison the leading political opponent of her political party and of the current president whom she has visited and consulted with during this process.
If Ms. Willis were to prevail in her prosecution of the man who is currently leading in national and battleground polls, it would prove to be the most consequential criminal prosecution in American history. Not only would it directly affect this year's presidential election, but it would also affect future presidents in terms of the legal and political guidance they get from their advisors.
Given the far-reaching ramifications and the direct impact on this year's election, Willis is overseeing the most consequential criminal prosecution in American history.
And she is one hot mess.
Between the tawdry love affair, the corruption, the grift, the kick-backs, the tens of thousands of dollars she keeps under her bed, the outrageous, arrogant, entitled behavior on the witness stand and her defiant entitlement in defiance of any accountability or oversight, Willis perfectly personifies the corrupt nature of the legal attacks on Joe Biden's #1 political opponent.
This entire circus is a corrupt nightmare of the Democrat Party's creation.
